The Knighton Hotel

Contrary to other reviews I found the Knighton to be a nice place to stay. It is not a traditional hotel/B&B as no meals are provided, but the accommodation was clean, tidy and quite. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided, but not replenished (I imagine you could ask at reception for more if required). The staff I met were all friendly and reception was maned everyday I was staying. Overall if you want a cheap room for a few nights then you can't go wrong here. There's plenty of meal options in Knighton for breakfast, lunch and dinner so the lack of meals in the hotel was not a problem.

We booked at the last minute and on arrival the staff were lovely and gave my Grandson a colouring book which he loved. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spotless and had all the essentials you'd expect in a hotel room e.g hairdryer, tea and coffee etc. There was a jacuzzi bath but we only used the shower but still a great addition. Although the hotel itself doesn't offer dining facilities it's literally in the high street so pubs and cafes are a 2 minute walk away so it wasn't a problem for us.

Very clean hotel, hotel room and bathroom. Modern bathroom with jet bath was great, used it both nights. Room size was decent. Room had all the amenities you could need, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Staff helpful on arrival. Hotel itself homely, comfortable and quiet.

The reception lady was very helpful. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and really clean bed linen and towels. En suite facilities were clean and modern. Although the hotel no longer provides food, the kitchen was available to guests to use as their own. Although I didn’t use the kitchen, I did look around, it is on the ground floor and clearly visible through glazed doors, to anyone who enters the hotel. The hotel provides plastic containers for guests to keep their foodstuffs in the glass fronted fridges. Different but obviously a facility for guests rather than just closed! Dining area and the bar lounge were closed to guest as far as I know. I absolutely have no issues with the Knighton hotel.

Staff were great, clean, inviting,location was ace! We could also bring the dog which was the major selling point not to mention the price for what you get
